I built Alzando because I couldn't find anyone offering what I needed for my own property. So I built the methodology myself — and then realised how many other hosts were in exactly the same position.

The story

Four years of hands-on hosting. Hundreds of decisions — about pricing, photography, guest communication, platform settings, seasonal strategy. Most of them made without a template, without a guide, and without anyone to ask.

What makes that experience unusual is the conditions it was built under. At the same time as managing the property — every clean, every garden, every styled room, every photograph — I was completing a degree and working for the NHS. No team. No margin. No room for guesswork. Every decision had to count because there was no time to make it twice.

That experience became a methodology. And the methodology became Alzando.

The pivot point was realising that the gap between what most properties earn and what they could earn isn't about effort — it's about expertise. Hosts are trying. The advice available to them simply isn't good enough.
